What to Expect:
We are looking for an Account Manager based in Montreal, Quebec to work remotely or at our Nestlé Sales office in Brampton hybrid 2 days a week. This position is responsible to drive sales and profitability across our water business for our customer Metro Inc. through effective execution of Nestlé Canada Sales and Marketing initiatives.

A day in the life:

  1. Develop and achieve the sales business plans, implement strategies for each category, manage total trade spend, and achieve agreed shelf, distribution and promotional targets.
  2. Analyse, identify, monitor, and address specific issues to achieve Nestlé’s goals for sales, commercial spend, share, distribution, and operating budgets.
  3. Develop and implement trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customer.
  4. Proactively monitor and update the customer's overall business plan, including managing trade budgets, spending, and volume to achieve all objectives versus plan.
  5. Effectively manage internal and external relationships, meeting the agreed level of customer contact with all involved parties.
  6. Develop and customize Category Plan based sales presentations; leverage the Category Roadmaps to customize for their customer and make it relevant and applicable to their situation.
  7. Enter all relevant customer/category promotion plans into the Customer Management Tool.

Role Requirements

  1. Bilingualism in English and French (fluent) language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market.
  2. 3+ years of progressive sales experience in account management preferably in the Food and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  3. Strong self-motivation and proactive mindset, with the capacity to think strategically to secure incremental business opportunities.
  4. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven track record of delivering effective presentations to audiences of all sizes.
  5. Travel as needed across Quebec and Ontario.

Preferred Skills

  1. Excellent leadership abilities, fostering collaboration and strong interpersonal skills.
  2. Outstanding organizational skills, effective time management, exceptional prioritization abilities, proficient in project management, with a keen eye for detail.
