This is a permanent, full-time position.


The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday – days only.


Ward 65 Neurosurgery has a full-time position for a Housekeeper. The role of the Housekeeper is key to supporting the ward team in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and their families. It is essential that you are a good communicator, well-organised, able to undertake instructions and work well within a team. The successful applicant will support the ward team in ensuring infection control environmental standards are maintained.


Ward 65 is a 23 bed ward within the Institute of Neurological Sciences, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital campus. The team delivers person-centred care to Neurosurgical patients who have undergone surgery and/or require investigations.


This post requires PVG scheme membership / Disclosure Scotland check as part of NHSGGC pre-employment checking for all appointed candidates.
