Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations in Richmond Hill. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products, maintaining productivity targets and ensuring workplace health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage warehouse operations in alignment with company policies and vision.
2. Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
3. Design and implement efficient warehouse layouts and ensure optimal space utilization.
4. Develop, implement, and enforce operational policies and procedures.
5. Ensure compliance with warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
6. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
7. Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage systems.
8. Prepare and manage annual budgets.
9. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
10. Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and evaluate staff performance.
11. Recruit, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
12. Generate regular reports and statistics on warehouse performance.
13. Gather feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

Requirements:

1. Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager.
2. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
3. Ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
4. Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
5. Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
6. Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate staff.
7. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication skills.
9. Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration is preferred.

Job Type:

Pay:

$39,289.75-$65,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

1. Bonus pay
2. Overtime pay

Work Location:

In person, Richmond Hill, ON

Schedule:

1. 8 hour shift
2. Day shift
3. Monday to Friday
4. Overtime
5. Weekends as needed

Experience:

1. Shopify: 3 years (required)
2. Warehouse Management: 3 years (required)
