Aston Carter Payroll Specialist in Lakeland, Florida

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will process payroll, handle inquiries and disputes, and provide exceptional customer service in a supportive, family-oriented environment. This role is perfect for entry-level to mid-level professionals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

1. Complete daily credit card coding and purchase analysis
2. Process payroll for the company
3. Handle payroll inquiries and questions, and resolve any disputes
4. Provide customer service and validate pay
5. Process all payroll garnishments and set up in the system
6. Billing collections
7. Accounts payable
8. Accounts receivable/payable
9. Basic Excel skills (spreadsheets, basic functions)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1. HS Diploma/GED required, degree preferred but not required
2. Some professional experience or an internship in accounting or payroll
3. Positive attitude and willingness to learn
4. Adaptability and a go-getter mindset

The position is based at our corporate office in Plant City, FL. This is an on-site role with a flexible 8-hour schedule between 7 AM and 6 PM. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $21.63/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
