Our client is seeking a heavy equipment road mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of construction and aerial equipment on-site. This role ensures the fleet remains in peak condition and rental-ready while providing expert technical support and customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment maintenance & repair
Service and troubleshoot mobile generators (120v to 800v) and conduct load bank tests
Perform routine maintenance including oil and filter changes, light replacements, and general servicing
Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards before deployment
Customer & technical support
Provide expert knowledge to customers on equipment operation, safety, and accessory recommendations
Ensure a consistent and fair customer experience, resolving issues effectively
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
3+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair, including aerial equipment
421a and / or EPG license (an asset)
Mechanical aptitude with expertise in diesel & gas engines, electric / hydraulic systems
Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
