Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of mobile internet optimization solutions that help telecom operators improve network efficiency, speed, and optimize video traffic. They are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with about 5 years of manual QA testing experience. This is a remote, home office-based position.

The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for leading manual feature testing, from planning stages through execution, results reporting, and analysis while taking into consideration a variety of components in a complex environment. The QA Engineer works closely with the development team, system architects, and product team.

Minimum Requirements

Experience in server-based products like proxy, DPI, etc. Experienced at working in large-scale lab environments.

Education

BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent with Networking or QA Knowledge.

Professional Knowledge Must:

1. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix OS
2. Vast Knowledge in Networking (L2/3/4 devices)
3. Good Knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols
4. Experienced in various QA Methodologies (including documentation writing)

Advantages:

1. Scripting abilities (shell, TCL, etc.)
2. Experience in Network Telecom industry
3. Knowledge with industrial hardware: servers, blades, switches, routers
4. Working with automation tools (Selenium, etc.)
5. Agile and dedicated
6. Able to lead tasks independently and responsibly
7. Languages: Fluent in English, especially in writing
