At OFRA, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for our residents and we are looking for a dynamic and driven Temporary Human Resources Manager (18-month contract) to join our senior management team.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will play a pivotal role overseeing all Human Resources functions to support our organization's goals. In this senior leadership role, you will lead initiatives in labour relations, recruitment, employee engagement, and policy development, ensuring compliance with provincial employment laws. You will be responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture, guiding collective bargaining processes, managing grievances, and developing strategic workforce plans to attract and retain top talent.

You are an accomplished human resources leader with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related business field, coupled with 5-7 years of progressive HR experience in a unionized environment. You possess sound knowledge in labour relations, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and a comprehensive understanding of employment legislation. Your exceptional communication abilities, coupled with your proficiency in various computer software, will enable you to build effective relationships and drive organizational success.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $93,425.83-$113,546.12 per year
