General Labourer - Temporary

$20/hour - General Labourer - Temporary project (3-weeks)

We are actively recruiting 7 temporary labourer(s) for a new store setup in ON - Port Credit. This job is very physically demanding. You would be assisting in moving store fixtures, products, disposing of construction material, cleaning store sections, adjusting shelf heights, and other general labour tasks as required.

• Rate: $20/hour + vacation pay
• Location: ON - Port Credit
• Project Dates: March 24th until April 11th, 2025
• Availability: Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Moving and adjusting shelving/tables/racking in a big-box store
• Disposing of construction material
• Cleaning store sections
• Other general labour tasks as required
• Physical requirements: Lifting up to 50lbs, on feet for entire shift.

Successful Candidate Qualifications:

• Retail experience is considered an asset
• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs, remain on feet for entire shift and work in a physically demanding position.
• Positive attitude, reliable, good communicator and fluent in English
• PPE required: CSA Approved Safety footwear, Work Gloves, Hard Hat, Safety Vest, protective eyewear
• Completion of OWSA/WHMIS certificate (Can be completed prior to starting)
