JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing, the Customer Marketing Manager will lead marketing efforts for key accounts in the automotive aftermarket sector, including warehouse distributors and automotive aftermarket retailers. This role will focus on delivering sales and marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, enhance brand presence, and deliver measurable business results through tailored marketing strategies.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Support

  1. Responsible for creating and executing a broad and appropriate mix of marketing campaigns (inclusive of event marketing, advertising, sales collateral, in-store messaging and promotions, digital marketing and other sales and marketing tactics) to maximize awareness, relevancy, consideration, and adoption of Mevotech brands and products within strategic accounts.
  2. Develop customer marketing campaigns, budgets and timelines aligned with sales and marketing strategies.
  3. Strategize with Product, Marketing and Sales teams through regular meetings to ensure ongoing communications while keeping track of purpose and ROI of key customer initiatives.
  4. Manage and measure program execution against committed timelines and within budget; set appropriate success KPIs, track measurements to determine impact and ROI and present the findings to sales, marketing and product team leaders.
  5. Support go-to-market launch plans for brands and product launches, ensuring alignment to key account requirements.
  6. Lead development of joint marketing programs with partners and customer accounts, creating high-impact events and campaigns that drive measurable results and brand integrity for all parties.
  7. Oversee co-op budget and marketing program, tracking costs and collection.
  8. Become an advocate for our brand and products with the customer.
  9. Assist in developing, organizing and tracking marketing material needed to support effective campaigns.
  10. Coordinate with external vendors and agencies to ensure high-quality and timely execution.
  11. Providing superior customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  12. Support on publication of social media posts.

Sales Support

  1. Hands-on partner to sales teams to ensure the delivery of high-profile customer communications.
  2. Work with the marketing department and other departmental stakeholders to develop and implement a variety of marketing material to support sales initiatives.
  3. Assist with developing and managing content production, including vendor communications, coordinating materials, reviewing content, printing and shipment of finished assets.
  4. Prepare PowerPoint presentations and other sales or marketing collateral required to support events and customer initiatives.
  5. Develop a deep understanding of customer cross-channel needs and their specialty areas to satisfy account requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Customer Success with a focus in B2B Marketing.
  3. Proven ability to define, develop and execute integrated marketing programs on time and within budget that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
  4. Strategic thinker that can see beyond the day-to-day grind to help reach marketing and sales goals, create a stronger brand, and improve the customer experience.
  5. Incredible interpersonal skills that delight and engage with our key customer accounts.
  6. Must have strong project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting, proofreading, and presentation skills.
  8. Strong creative collaborator.
  9. Ability to develop long-term business relationships with customers and sales teams.
  10. Strong desire to win as a team combined with the ability to work independently.
  11. Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
  12. Advanced skills with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  13. Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, multi-task, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines while meeting stakeholder needs.
  14. Ability to work under pressure, problem solve and meet tight deadlines.
  15. Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports.
  16. Automotive experience or car enthusiast is a bonus.
