Who We Are

Home Church Langley (www.homechurch.ca) is a Gospel-centered, Christ-exalting, grace-filled community of 140 people. We are a warmly Reformed church – Calvinistic, Covenantal and Confessional – and a founding member of the Reformation Canada Network (www.reformationcanada.ca). We seek to present these rich truths in an accessible way that is clearly drawn from and rooted in the infallible Word of God.

By God’s grace, to restore prodigals through the Gospel and lead them to maturity in Christ.

Our Environment

Since 2002, we have rented a public school gymnasium outfitted with a mobile audio-visual console, a modern fixed projector and spotlights. We are situated in an ethnically diverse, rapidly growing neighborhood, reflected in our congregation, which represents all age groups. British Columbia is the most beautiful and temperate province in Canada.

Our New Pastor

Home Church Langley is seeking a qualified pastor (or student-in-training) to teach and preach the Word of God with integrity and joy and lead the congregation:

1. Preaching – We value preaching that is Christ-centered, Grace-filled, Expository, Doctrinal, Practical, and Exhorting, easily relatable to prodigals and saints alike.
2. Humility – Possesses a teachable spirit in both personal and public life.
3. Joy – Possesses a friendly, enthusiastic approach to life in general and the congregation in particular.
4. Relational – Exhibits interpersonal excellence inside and outside the Body of Christ.
5. A Shepherd’s Heart – A Godly man longing to shepherd and serve one flock on a long-term basis.
6. Discipleship – Loves to equip the saints for the work of ministry, thereby building up the body of Christ.
7. Personal Integrity – Starts in the heart and is keenly observed by his family.
8. Spiritual Gifts – Possesses spiritual gifts of teaching, administration, and leadership.

Our New Pastor’s First Year

Our current pastor is committed to providing a rich mentoring relationship with the new pastor, allowing ample time to learn key systems, core values, and to fall in love with God’s people.
