What to Expect:
Are you ready to take charge of the dynamic people agenda for the sales teams of Nespresso Canada? Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will coach an engaged team of HR professionals, and you will have the exciting chance to create and implement a strategic people plan that aligns perfectly with our business agenda. This influential position is crucial to our organization's success as the work you and your team do is instrumental in attracting, developing, and retaining talent and in building the culture of our organization.

A day in the life:

  • HR Co-Pilot: Act as a strategic HR Partner to the Sales Leaders, understanding their business needs and providing HR solutions and support.
  • HR Strategy and Planning: Contribute to the execution of the business plan through the creation (where appropriate) and implementation of the People Strategies that attract, develop and retain employees.
  • Performance and Talent Management: Ensure Performance and Talent Management drive the achievement of business goals through objective and development plan setting, performance calibration, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Employee Relations: Establish and maintain effective relationships with managers and employees, by crafting an environment that encourages communication and collaboration for a great outcome for everyone. Ensure compliance with employment laws and Nestle policies; provide guidance on HR-related legal matters. Manage and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Organizational Design and Development: Pro-actively challenge the established organizational structure of the assigned client groups to drive outstanding performance.
  • People Management: Coach and develop a team of professionals of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.

Role Requirements

  • Bilingualism in English and French is required for this position. The role involves frequent and complex collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market and/or internationally. These interactions necessitate a high level of proficiency in English to effectively perform the tasks associated with the job.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of comprehensive and progressive HR experience at Manager Level.
  • Experience leading and managing change through the effective use of organisation design, development and business transformation techniques.
  • Success leading, mentoring, and developing people in a high performing team environment.
  • Effective influencing and coaching of leaders.
  • Sound knowledge of employment and labour laws.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to work in a fast pace and high growth environment.
  • Knowledge of Retail industry.
  • Ability to work within a Matrix environment; achieving results through effective influencing and collaborating.
