ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Scotford Cogeneration team as an Operations Coordinator.
Reporting to the Station Manager, the Operations Coordinator supports the continuous, efficient and safe day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Scotford Cogeneration station. This position will make decisions on maintenance and operating regimes, including developing and updating standard Operating procedures and safe work practices as well as support of change management. This is a line position requiring well-developed technical, people-management skills and productive working relationships with the Joint Venture (JV).
This position is located at the Scotford Cogeneration Plant, just East of Fort Saskatchewan. The Scotford Cogeneration Plant is a 195-megawatt natural gas-fired cogeneration plant that meets the thermal and power needs of the Shell Scotford Upgrader Complex.
This is a full-time salaried position and is also considered a safety sensitive role. The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment testing.
