An exciting opportunity exists within the Wood Automotive Group to join a highly successful team as an Assistant Service Manager with Woodridge Ford Lincoln!

About the role:

This position will support and report directly to the Service Manager and work to support and develop our team while continuing our commitment to customer satisfaction. The Assistant Service Manager position requires a thorough understanding of retail service operations. The successful candidate will have supervisory experience and a proven track record in automotive services.

Duties and Responsibilities Include (But are not limited to):

  1. Maintaining superior customer satisfaction and client follow-up
  2. Perform administrative tasks such as R.O. close out, monitoring WIP, etc.
  3. The ability to develop and implement service team strategies
  4. The ability to assign duties to staff while setting clear expectations
  5. The ability to lead, motivate and manage the Service Department
  6. Ensure staffing levels are adequate
  7. Assist with supervision of drive through and office staff
  8. Perform duties of the Service Manager, in their absence
  9. The ability to create and implement new marketing strategies for continued growth
  10. Experience in resolving customer opportunities
  11. The ability to review all incoming information and take timely, appropriate action as required
  12. Assisting with forecasting and planning both yearly and monthly goals and objectives
  13. Engaging and meeting with staff on a regular basis, promoting engagement and two-way communication

Qualifications:

  1. Experience with managing and developing employees
  2. Previous Service Advisor experience
  3. Excellent communication and organizational skills
  4. Ford Experience is an asset
  5. PBS experience is an asset
