Job Description

Opportunity snapshot

Member of the DevOps team with responsibility for supporting and building cloud platforms as well as CI/CD Pipelines within the Managed Services Space and internal Bluedoor Development Teams.

Role responsibilities

1. Maintain the existing CI/CD pipeline (Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, git/TFS, PowerShell)
2. Assess and build new capabilities in the cloud hosted environments
3. Design and implement new automation solutions using existing DevOps tools
4. Implementation of new pipelines
5. Implementation/Build of new Cloud Environments
6. Assist in Managing Projects through to completion with the DevOps Manager/Supervisor
7. 2nd level support for DevOps Activities

Experience

1. IT degree, or equivalent experience
2. 5+ years experience working in a DevOps/Cloud Engineering/SRE role
3. Solid understanding of DevOps practices and methods
4. Solid understanding tech stack to include:

• AWS
• Terraform
• PowerShell & Bash
• Windows/Linux
• Puppet
• SaltStack
• Containerization
• VMWare
• Databases (Postgres/MSSQL)
• CI/CD Tools such as TeamCity, Octopus, GitHub Actions
