Job description

We’re looking for a Financial Analyst, Corporate Travel Expenses to join our growing team!

About the role

The Corporate Credit Cards team is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team that works in several areas, including corporate credit cards, cash expenses, international travel and sustainability.

6 month temporary position.

As part of the Corporate Credit Cards team, this is what you’ll do :

Analyses, reconciliations and accounting processes

  1. Perform various analyses such as the evolution of expense accounts, the evolution of greenhouse gas emissions, etc.
  2. Analyze and present corporate credit card information by expense type, department, resource, etc.
  3. Perform accounting entries in the ERP system.
  4. Code transactions to general ledgers and cost centres.
  5. Collect part of the data used to create sustainability reports.
  6. Perform various analyses to identify opportunities for reducing travel costs.

Controls and auditing

  1. Apply internal controls to ensure that users comply with internal policies.
  2. Collaborate with internal and external audit teams.
  3. Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational, financial and internal control processes.
  4. Contribute to the improvement of dashboards (KPI).

Software implementation

  1. Participate in the implementation of a new expense management tool: Establish test scripts, test functionalities, monitor projects, and work with various stakeholders.

What you bring to the table :

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA designation, an asset).
  2. At least five years of relevant experience in the role of a financial analyst.
  3. Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  4. Knowledge of Oracle (an asset).
  5. Experience working with an expense management tool.
  6. For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
