Fairleigh Dickinson University Vancouver Campus offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs to almost 1000 mostly international students. The International School of Hospitality, Sports, & Tourism Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University is accepting applications for a tenure track, full-time Assistant Professor position in Hospitality & Tourism Management on the Vancouver campus with a Fall 2025 start date.
Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) faculty work collaboratively and inter-professionally with colleagues, advise students, deliver instruction, participate in service, engage in scholarship, and contribute to accreditation processes. The successful candidate would teach courses in subject areas primarily in the Master of Hospitality Management Studies program but may also teach in other undergraduate and graduate programs. Particular areas of specialization include, but are not limited to, hospitality/tourism research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative welcomed), leadership and organizational behavior, hotel operations/management, hospitality financial management, services management, and food and beverage management.
Required Qualifications:
Salary and benefits are competitive with peer institutions with hiring range of $110,000-$120,000 CAD. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check. Canadian residency or work permit required.
