The ideal candidate will provide short-term counselling services to employees of client organizations facing personal, family, or work-related challenges.   1. Engage in solution-focused therapy, supporting a diverse range of clients and presenting concerns.
  2. Utilize a strength-based approach to empower clients throughout the change process.
  3. Address a variety of issues including risk, addiction, relationship difficulties, parenting, family conflict, grief, aging, depression, and anxiety.
  4. Deliver exceptional clinical services while embracing the TELUS Health culture of continuous learning.
  5. Efficiently manage administrative requirements in accordance with the client's EAP model.
  6. Effectively manage intake processes, conduct thorough assessments, and develop effective treatment plans.
  7. Work independently within a shared office space alongside experienced clinicians.

Qualifications

Education:

  1. Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
  2. Membership in good-standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers & Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
  3. Certified or extensively trained in Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and/or Narrative Therapy.

Experience:

  1. Minimum of five (5) years of post-master's clinical experience, supporting all client groups.
  2. Experienced with diverse & complex concerns such as couples, family, risk, and addictions.
  3. Proficient with Office Suite, digital communication, and case tracking.
  4. Experienced in utilizing performance metrics to enhance client satisfaction and optimize service delivery.
  5. Proven ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.
  6. Ability to prioritize and adapt to the ebb and flow of daily responsibilities.
