Mechanical Technicians

Mechanical Technicians are responsible for executing the mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, specifically for rotating and static equipment.

1. Actively participate in HAZOP, JHA, and FLRA; follow the appropriate Lock-out/Tag-out processes for commissioning.
2. Follow system commissioning procedures that have been developed and approved.
3. Participate in project Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT); support walk-downs and the creation of punch lists.
4. Conduct vibration checks, temperature checks, RPM, and rotational checks of equipment.
5. Perform pressure testing.
6. Ensure preservation of equipment.
