Edmonton Leader; Construction & Infrastructure

What the day will look like

  • Lead a team of Account Executives and Associate Account Executives in order to drive new business and deliver client service excellence;
  • Collaborate with other Leaders in the Edmonton office in order to bring the best of C&I to Aon clients;
  • Review, handle and pursue Account Receivables;
  • Collaborate with other C&I Leaders in order to develop and maintain best practices;
  • Align and work closely with colleagues to deliver Aon’s 3x3 plan;
  • Participate with construction associations and attend industry events;
  • Work closely with Aon leaders to develop effective local market planning;
  • Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Minimum 10-15 years of dynamic experience demonstrating Commercial Insurance knowledge and expertise in Canada;
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and the key stakeholders in Alberta;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across Aon offices and practice groups;
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Mentorship and management experience;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;
  • Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing requirements and deadlines under pressure;
  • Must have strong digital literacy and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package.
