The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a
Development Training Supervisor to join our
Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.The position will be based in Onaping, Greater Sudbury, Ontario.
This is a full-time, contract staff position, one year with the possibility of extension.
Work location is not accessible by public transportation.

Reporting to the Craig Mine Training Department, the Development Training Specialist is responsible for the facilitation of boom bolter and jumbo drill training at Craig Mine.

Education And SkillsThe incumbent requires significant experience in mine development and construction with good planning, organizing, leadership capabilities, and communication skills. Operational experience with mechanical bolting machines, specifically ‘boom bolters’ and jumbo drills is required. Experience with screen handling and resin injection systems, supervisory or other leadership experience, and Mining Train the Trainer would be considered assets. The incumbent will be required to work shift work.
