Nursery Retail Specialist – Join Our Team!

Do you love working with plants, helping customers, and getting your hands dirty? If so, keep reading!

We’re looking for a friendly, plant-loving person to join our nursery team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the outdoors, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isn’t afraid of a little dirt. You’ll be helping customers find the perfect plants, maintaining nursery stock, setting up displays, and assisting with daily operations.

What You’ll Need:

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Metchosin.
• Steel-toed boots (slippers won’t cut it here!).
• The ability to work a flexible schedule—weekends are required.

Bonus Points for Experience In:

• Garden centers or nurseries.
• Retail or customer service.
• Horticulture, gardening, or landscaping.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience.
• Manage and organize merchandise on the sales floor to maintain a visually appealing store.
• Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately.
• Stay informed about product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to effectively communicate with customers.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Sales experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in GSuite and ability to learn new systems.

Compensation:

$20 - $25 hourly
