The DHC3-T Pilot will work within a small team environment and report to the Chief Pilot for any concerns that arise or any needs for the smooth air operation. A high degree of customer service is necessary when dealing with guests, to provide a positive and happy environment where guests feel appreciated and welcomed.
Responsibilities:
- Flying tourists to and from destinations
- Charter flying for mining exploration, Indigenous Programs, etc.
- Maintaining aircraft
- Liaise with staff to ensure duties are completed
- Loading and unloading aircraft
- Inventory of outpost cabin propane, gas, etc.
- Fueling aircraft
- Docking of aircraft
- Maintenance of outpost locations as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
- Commercial Pilot License
- 800 hours on floats - Time on type or have DHC-2 time
- Time on type or similar type aircraft
- Cat 1 Medical
- Egress Training
- Proven ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to perform physical tasks on a daily basis
- Focus on providing a consistently high standard of customer service
- Passion for exceptional customer service is essential
- Time management skills
Restrictions:
- Must have legal right to live/work in Canada.
- Must have Transport Canada License/Medical.
Notes:
Seasonal, Full Time Mid May-Mid October.
Rate of Pay to be discussed, paid semi monthly, +4% Vacation Pay, Accommodations Provided.
