Seaplane Pilot —

The DHC3-T Pilot will work within a small team environment and report to the Chief Pilot for any concerns that arise or any needs for the smooth air operation. A high degree of customer service is necessary when dealing with guests, to provide a positive and happy environment where guests feel appreciated and welcomed.

Responsibilities:

1. Flying tourists to and from destinations
2. Charter flying for mining exploration, Indigenous Programs, etc.
3. Maintaining aircraft
4. Liaise with staff to ensure duties are completed
5. Loading and unloading aircraft
6. Inventory of outpost cabin propane, gas, etc.
7. Fueling aircraft
8. Docking of aircraft
9. Maintenance of outpost locations as needed
10. Other duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

1. Commercial Pilot License
2. 800 hours on floats - Time on type or have DHC-2 time
3. Time on type or similar type aircraft
4. Cat 1 Medical
5. Egress Training
6. Proven ability to work well as part of a team
7. Ability to perform physical tasks on a daily basis
8. Focus on providing a consistently high standard of customer service
9. Passion for exceptional customer service is essential
10. Time management skills

Restrictions:

1. Must have legal right to live/work in Canada.
2. Must have Transport Canada License/Medical.

Notes:

Seasonal, Full Time Mid May-Mid October.
Rate of Pay to be discussed, paid semi monthly, +4% Vacation Pay, Accommodations Provided.
