Logistics & Production Coordinator ()
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise and collaborate with production team leads and purchasing team to plan manufacturing activities and address production issues that may arise during the manufacturing process
- Coordinate with multiple departments regarding changes in materials or equipment needed to support production capacity
- Manage inventory control and support the scheduling of daily activities with lead hands to ensure that all tasks are completed on time
- Creation and closure of jobs travelers
- Manage inventory control and coordinate customer shipment to ensure customer satisfaction
- Plan and coordinate transportation, inventory, warehousing, handling, and information integration
- Work with Operation Manager to ensure minimal negative impact of shortages or service interruptions on the business.
- Ensure goods are shipped on time to the right locations and that all goods are received in good condition
- Communicate and record information accurately

Tasks & Responsibilities:- Ensure quality assurance throughout the production process
- In coordination with Operations Manager, support production team so that scheduled goals are met
- Suggest and develop cost-effective measurements to achieve exceptional business practices
- Meet and maintain PLP Canada quality and safety standards
- Develop and support best practices, act as PLP ambassador and improve manufacturing processes
- Prepare shipping paperwork for daily shipments.
- Demonstrate productive teamwork

Experience / Education / Skillset:- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of Health and Safety in the workplace
- Familiar with principles of ISO 9001 and the use of ERP system (EPICOR).
- Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare documents and spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access) to analyze data and trends.
Work schedule:- Full Time, permanent position
- Work schedule, 8 am to 4:30 pm include 30 mins for lunch, 40 hours a week. (flexible)
