The School of Psychology is seeking to appoint a part time (3 days a week) Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) to contribute to one or more of our PG Diploma in CBT (Anxiety & Depression), PG Diploma in CBT (Severe Mental Ill-Health), PG Certificate in CBT (Severe Mental Ill-Health), and linked modules.
We welcome applications from clinical psychologists / accredited CBT practitioners with a passion for CBT and experience in training at post-graduate level.
You will join a team of clinical academics with a strong track record of delivering high quality CBT training across South East England, and nationally.
The CBT team at the University of Southampton is committed to the scientist-practitioner model, firmly rooted in the core values of the NHS Constitution and has over 25 years' experience in clinical training in partnership with our local NHS Trusts. Two different employment pathways are available: education-led or balanced across research and education. Applicants with expertise in teaching clinical skills, and an aspiration to develop these skills further and/or an aspiration to develop their research portfolio can apply on the education pathway. Those with expertise in teaching clinical skills and a growing national/international research track record, evidenced by publications/grant income, can apply on the balanced pathway.
