Are you a dynamic professional with a passion for crafting engaging narratives and fostering meaningful connections in social media?

In this role, reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, you will collaborate closely with our Brand, Content and Creative teams. Your responsibilities include the strategic shaping of our brands narratives online, developing and executing social media campaigns, fostering meaningful connections with our audiences, and contributing to the growth of our brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • With the support of the Content Team and Creative Team, create multimedia content and write captions for brand social content.
  • Develop social media campaigns for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Manage the paid and organic social media content calendar and approval process with agency, brand, and content teams. Schedule content in Meltwater.
  • Monitor direct messages for complaints and coordinate with Customer Care.
  • Reactively respond to mentions, story shares, and comments about us.
  • Proactively engage with the accounts we follow on Instagram, Twitter, and other platforms.
  • Utilize Meltwater for monitoring and share insights with other teams.
  • Report on campaigns and contribute to quarterly reports.
  • Provide support for communication and marketing initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Over 3 years of progressively responsible experience in similar roles.
  • In-depth understanding of the digital marketing space and social media (influencer relations a bonus).
  • Proficiency in using Social/Media Platforms (such as Meltwater) and project management software (Smartsheet, Kanban) is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of Photoshop and/or similar graphic design software.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within small multi-departmental teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for content development and customer service.
  • Creative and open to new ideas.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Candidates who are bilingual (English & French) would be given special consideration.
