This position works out of our St. Laurent, QC location. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Marketing Director with a passion for brand management, marketing campaigns, and talent development. In this role, you will lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies for multiple distinct brands (Similac, Pedialyte, Ensure, Glucerna, PediaSure and Specialty portfolio), each within its own highly competitive market, that align with our business goals. Your strategic mindset, agility, and intrapreneurial spirit will be essential for navigating and profitably growing these brands.

As the Marketing Director, you will integrate upstream engagement with hospitals and healthcare professionals to drive HCP recommendations, while adopting a customer-centric approach. This includes leveraging direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), and innovation to enhance brand preference, market share, and growth.

With excellent leadership abilities, you will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align on business objectives and contribute to the company's long-term success.

The incumbent must be able to communicate well in English (50% of the time), as his or her duties require interaction with stakeholders and colleagues outside Quebec and Canada.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead with vision:
    • Direct all consumer, retail, shopper marketing, and HCP/hospital marketing activities developing cutting-edge strategies that set us apart from the competition.
    • Develop brand objectives, strategies, and tactical plans to meet financial commitments and assess market growth opportunities.
    • Oversee both upstream and downstream marketing activities, from demand generation to brand management, consumer communication, and product lifecycle.
  • Financial & S&OP:
    • Manage the Brand P&L in partnership with Finance for the affiliate including A&P and GTN.
    • Collaborate with Finance cross functional partners to lead all brand LBE workstreams, including financial and share performance assessment and implications, sales risk identification and mitigation plans, and rest of year outlook.
    • Direct the analysis of business performance via 4-weekly consumption meetings including key segment business performance analysis, drivers/causals identification, and continuous development and execution of actions plans to accelerate growth.
    • Manage the allocation of the marketing budget to stay within monthly/quarterly commitments and maximize ROI.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead a talented team of 10 direct and indirect reports, to execute business strategies and plans to ensure delivery of the brands Sales, Margin and Market Share commitments.
    • Develop talent fostering agility, winning mindset, and growth.
  • Collaborate with Cross functional teams:
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives. These groups include Finance, HCP Sales Strategy/Contracts, Retail Sales, HCP Sales, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Public Affairs, and Executive Management.
    • Collaborate and liaise with US counterparts to develop more harmonized approach with US campaigns and initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Ability to interact with General Manager (GM), Leadership team and US Senior Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • BS or BA required; MBA strongly preferred due to the business complexity and P&L responsibility of the position.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of progressively responsible brand management experience in either Healthcare/OTC marketing or consumer packaged goods. A combination of the two (preferred).
  • Experience in leading teams, both with direct and indirect staff.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute complex strategic business plans, proven effectiveness in financial and budget management.
  • Change management agent with independent thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must be experienced in stakeholder management in a complex organizational structure, a strong influencer and possess negotiating skills.
