General Laborer

Job Summary: Responsible for keeping MDM and Cooler clean and free of any debris.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Pull pallets and combos from Dumpers.
2. Wash and stack pallets and combos.
3. Keep hydraulic room clean and free of debris.
4. Break down and stack cardboard.
5. Assist the MDM operator on all routine clean-ups.
6. Keep MDM floors and walls clean.
7. Adhere to rotation schedule with raw material handler and line inspector.
8. Assist the MDM operator during periods of downtime.
9. Be familiar with all functions of the MDM process to ensure that all safety regulations and devices are adhered to and used properly.
10. Know and observe all safety and quality rules and procedures.
11. Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the job.
12. Work as a good team member in helping to keep the area clean and free of debris, washing down floors of product and ice.
13. Maintain good communications and working relationships with all other departments.
14. Be willing to work overtime and weekends; assist in other areas as needed.

Required Qualifications:

1. Good working knowledge of FITCO process.
2. Training in Quality, Safety, HACCP, BRC, and GMPs.
3. Forklift certified.
4. Willing to work weekends and overtime.
5. Able to constantly stand or walk.
6. Able to constantly lift up to 50 pounds.
7. Able to constantly work in extreme cold and wet environments.
