Job Skills / Requirements

Job Description

1. Ensures that security operations occur consistent with policies and procedures.
2. Supervises, coaches and develops assigned staff.
3. Assesses the criticality and impact of incidents, works closely with other stakeholders and takes action to mitigate business impact.
4. Serves as the principle point of contact with public safety agencies attending in response to emergency situations.
5. Identifies security awareness deficiencies and makes recommendations as appropriate.
6. Effectively communicates job expectations to staff.

Job Requirements

1. Security License is Required.
2. Previous Supervisory experience is an asset.
3. Experience in dealing with outside emergency response agencies.
4. Previous security experience is preferred.
5. Ability to lead in crisis situations.
6. Strong written and oral communications skills.
7. Ability to interface effectively with key members of the property management team and tenant contacts.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
