Service Electrician

We are looking to add a highly skilled service electrician to our team.

Job Overview:

The Service Electrician is responsible for the overall day-to-day service work performed. The scheduling of work is based upon individual requests and is directed by the Vice President of Operations. The Service Electrician is to maintain the quality standards of the company and provide excellent customer service as well as look for opportunities for future work. The Service Electrician is responsible for interfacing with the Operations Administrator to ensure proper billing and documentation.

The position of Service Electrician requires physically working as a member of the team. In addition to providing the service, the Service Electrician is required to perform the elements listed below as assigned by the Vice President of Operations:

1. Planning and scheduling of work with the customer.
2. Paperwork and work order documentation.
3. Material handling & equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Ability to understand the scope of each request before starting the job.
2. Proactively communicate with clients.
3. Maintain detailed notes of work completed and recommendations.
4. Maintain safety standards on all jobs.
5. Processing of daily paperwork as required.
6. Review of daily progress to assist in the scheduling of work.
7. Material and equipment ordering and coordination.

Key Behavioral Competencies:

4. Strong technical skills for troubleshooting.

Required:

1. Skilled at working on commercial and industrial projects.
2. OSHA 10.
3. Valid driver's license.
4. Journeyman license - multistate licenses are a plus. (RI, MA, or CT).
