What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process end-to-end semi-monthly payroll for three legal entities, managing approximately 1,000 employees.
- Prepare annual tax forms for active and retiree group benefits, including T2200 forms and year-end adjustments.
- Extract and analyze data for payroll-related projects and respond to internal client requests.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll journal entries using multiple accounting systems.
- Conduct reconciliations of payroll-related accounts and benefits.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree is a strong asset; DEC required.
- Payroll designation with the National Payroll Institute is required.
- Previous experience in payroll processing within a multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and payroll legislation.
- Experience with ADP WFN payroll system (or similar systems like Dayforce Ceridian, Workday) is required.
