Tour Liaison – My Backyard Tours (MBYT)

The purpose of the Tour Liaison is to facilitate tourism experiences and services and may include other logistics for the Tłı̨chǫ Adventures Ltd. tourism division. Duties will be carried out safely, and you will work in conjunction with the team.

Scope

Reporting to the Community Tourism Supervisor, the Tour Liaison ensures optimal guest experience, along with timely and efficient logistics set up and coordination for tourism activities.

Responsibilities may include:

• Conducting secure and enjoyable community tours for guests.
• Lead a variety of tours within and Beyond Yellowknife
• Transporting guests in the company vehicle, along with luggage and other supplies.
• Facilitate the introduction of guests to other tour operators and activities.
• Greet guests to facilitate their travel to sister and partner companies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Efficient organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Positive customer service skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain productivity to be on time for tours.
• Ability to maintain a professional standard of conduct and sound work ethics.
• Safety oriented with an ability to identify and address workplace hazards and report infractions to immediate supervisor.
• Strong analytical, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and client information.
• Standard First Aid and CPR.
• Class 4 Driver’s License.
