Your role and responsibilities

As Sales Order Controller, you will support Project Managers in all financial and commercial matters throughout sales order execution. You will directly report to the Local Division Controller and work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

1. Enters customer purchase orders in SAP in compliance with internal procedures, including application of revenue recognition policies.
2. Manages sales orders to allow adequate order execution in the system.
3. Maintains billing plans in line with customer contracts and prepares invoices.
4. Performs periodic follow-up on accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
5. Updates the forecast based on the latest information available.
6. Initiates purchase requisitions.
7. Participates in ad hoc projects/initiatives as needed.

Qualifications for the role

• 2 - 5 years of pertinent experience in a multi-currency environment.
• Study in Accounting or Administration. Additional experience can compensate.
• Excellent work ethic, ownership, and well-organized.
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of SAP and Excel.
• Bilingualism (French-English) both written and verbal communication skills. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
