Economic Development Manager

Commerce Management Group is looking to hire an Economic Development Manager on behalf of one of our clients.

Under the direction of the Business Consultant, the Economic Development Manager will:

1. Manage an economic development project (create project management documents, conduct meetings, conduct necessary research, write a report, etc.)
2. Assist Consultants in economic development for Chapleau
3. Complete funding applications on behalf of Chapleau
4. Update Gantt charts and assist with progress report writing, attend/manage meetings, and provide progress updates/presentations.
5. Complete project specific research to support planning process
6. Assist hired Consultants in managing business support services for the Community of Chapleau

Qualifications:

1. Preference will be given to University or College graduates.
2. Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
3. Reside, and be legally entitled to work, in Canada.
