Ecologist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Ecologist with 2 years' experience to join a well-established ecology consultancy.

This role can be full-time or part-time offering excellent benefits, hybrid working and a salary range of £30,000 - £35,000.

As an Ecologist, you will be conducting and leading ecological surveys and site work.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Prepare technical reports under the guidance of senior staff.
2. Assist with project management tasks to ensure smooth delivery of services.
3. Contribute to shaping your role within a growing organisation.

What We Are Looking For:

1. Previously worked as an Ecologist, Ecological Consultant, Ecological Surveyor or in a similar role.
2. At least 2 years' professional experience in ecological consultancy.
3. Experience conducting UK Habitat Classification surveys and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
4. Possess in-depth knowledge of UK and EU Wildlife Legislation, planning policy, and survey best practices.
5. Hold a degree in ecology or a related field.
6. Valid UK driving licence and a vehicle insured for business use.
