Public Sector Proposal Writer

Agilus is recruiting for a Public Sector Proposal Writer in the staffing services industry in a hybrid work environment in Ottawa, Ontario. This role calls upon your ability to effectively identify, analyze, develop and write candidate submission proposals that meet compliance standards while also ensuring attention to deadlines. You know what RFS, RFP, and VOR stand for and you are ready to have an impact on the government work community by ensuring the best qualified resources are presented.

You will:

1. Collect, review, analyze, research, respond and submit proposal responses to Public Sector clients for employee/contractor resourcing
2. Ensure all hiring requirements such as technical skills and security clearances are verified to support candidate eligibility
3. Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 certification by adhering to ISO policies and procedures
4. Collaborate with Senior Leadership, Recruitment Consultants and Account Managers to identify, evaluate and represent the best qualified talent
5. Update the ATS/CRM system in a timely manner with detailed and accurate information
6. Support peers with recruitment, feedback, hiring and placement processes
7. Proactively identify and communicate with Leader opportunities for improvement with process, documentation, collaboration and responsibility and maintain and submit status reports
8. Provide analytical support to complete the proposal process and achieve successful and compliant outcomes

You bring:

1. Previous experience writing resource, grant and other structured proposals and/or formal education in a Communications/Technical Writing program or related field
2. Strong analytical skills and ability to use a matrix response model
3. Professional proficiency in MS Office and skills in editing
4. Experience in the recruitment industry is highly beneficial
5. Experience supporting or working within the Public Sector is preferred
6. A team player mentality of collaboration, accountability and results - this is part your DNA
