As a functional analyst, Data, you actively monitor opportunities offered by new technologies for the organization as a whole. You design components (applications, software, data and infrastructure) to meet project business needs based on the system architecture. You work in an evolving data warehouse environment. You ensure consistency with the organization’s current and future needs. You ensure that new functional and technical components are compatible with existing ones. You work with the various agile development squads on a daily basis. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Coach the team on analyzing business solutions and make improvements to speed up delivery.
- Collaborate, as a specialist, on the feasibility or detailed design of the solution.
- Cocreate with business partners to define needs and manage backlogs.
- Work with the product owner and project team to define functional specifications and exceptions.
- Advise and guide the development team and product owner by recommending different functional alternatives aligned with the architecture.
- Help define and guide scopes (stories, releases, sprints, projects, tests).
- Work with the architect to develop functional testing strategies.
- Define, guide and oversee the execution of automated and/or manual tests within your scope (specific cases/exceptions), with a focus on the end-to-end process.
- Produce or update required documentation. Take responsibility for implementing and managing incidents/problems within your scope.
- Monitor development technologies and practices and serve as a mentor for the development team in terms of technology and methods.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field
- At least six years of relevant experience in requirements gathering and functional writing (writing algorithms and functional batch scenarios for ETL in DataStage)
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Experience working in an ETL environment with DataStage
- Experience writing and executing SQL queries
- Knowledge of French is required
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
