Responsibilities:
Manage the accounts payable process.
Handle monthly entries and reconciliations.
Assist with the monthly accounting close.
Ensure internal controls are followed.
Organizing and maintaining records in preparation for audits.
Reconciling accounts on a daily basis by reviewing statements and transactions.
Processing a high volume of invoices by matching them to purchase orders, verifying details, and ensuring timely payment approvals.
Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and foster strong relationships.
Preparing journal entries, recording account transactions, and performing analyses for accuracy.
Utilizing accounting software and Excel to generate reports, create templates, and track financial data.
Identifying and resolving account discrepancies by reviewing documentation and making necessary adjustments.
Qualifications and Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a similar accounts payable role, with a solid understanding of the full accounts payable cycle.
AEC, DEC, or DEP in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent).
Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions like VLookUp and pivot tables.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
