A day in the life of an IS & IT Digitization Team Leader:

The IS & IT Digitization Team Leader will be responsible for the management of the IS/IT Department as well as the development of long-term plans, recommendations on efficiency and improvements while keeping the department within budget. Provide effective IS/IT services to ensure equipment and facilities availability for plant operations. This role will require flexibility as it is a 24/7 operation; other shifts or schedules may be required.

  • Provide guidance on the scope surrounding the Information Security Management system (ISMS) and advise on the periodic monitoring, maintaining, and review of procedures of the ISMS.
  • Responsible for reviewing the inputs to and outputs from the ISMS and establish a process to drive continuous improvements and ensure corrective and/or preventative action can be taken to ensure that the ISMS remains relevant.
  • Establish a framework for the timely execution of internal audits of information security that occur throughout Nestlé.
  • In partnership with the business, responsible for the counteraction of interruptions to business activities and the protection of critical business processes from the effects of major failures of information systems or disasters and to ensure their timely resumption.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all hardware and software systems used in the factory.
  • Ensure the reliability and security of the factory's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and communication systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation.
  • Implement regular maintenance schedules and updates for all IT systems.
  • Plan and execute IT projects that enhance factory operations, including system upgrades and new technology implementations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical support to factory staff, addressing issues related to IT equipment and software applications.
  • Ensure the protection of information in networks and the protection of the supporting infrastructure.
  • As process owner, maintain the data management system as part of Nestlé Quality Management System requirement.
  • Ensure compliance with Confections Category standards and updates of our infrastructure.
  • Lead and develop people within the London team by coaching and guiding and being able to understand and resolve team dynamics.
  • Ensure compliance to safety activities like Friend helping Friend observations, Lockout Tagout, Safety training, etc.
  • Develop the team to create and sustain a Risk Prediction mindset culture as well as initiatives that lead to the reduction of safety incidents.

Role Requirements

  • Completion of a diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, related to IT or equivalent mix of education and/or relevant work experience.
  • Experience in leading Information Security position in a multinational and multicultural environment, proven leadership skills.
  • IT Audit exposure and Security compliance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IT. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
