  3. Monitor workflows to meet deadlines, optimize space utilization, and improve material handling efficiency.
  4. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational cost control, order fulfillment, accuracy, and shipping timelines.
  5. Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  6. Maintain strict inventory control, conduct regular spot-checks, and ensure real-time stock level tracking.
  7. Lead efforts to prevent stock discrepancies and resolve any issues related to inventory accuracy.
  8. Identify process improvement opportunities, implement best practices, and streamline inbound and outbound operations to reduce errors and increase throughput.
  9. Enforce safety protocols, ensure compliance with policies, and manage labor relations in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Ideal Qualifications

  1. Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a unionized warehouse or distribution environment, with a proven track record of driving performance improvements and meeting operational goals.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team in a fast-paced setting.
  3. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to assess performance data, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  4. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, barcoding systems, and electronic data interchange (EDI) systems.
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
