As we expand our reach to Toronto, we are looking for passionate and experienced team members to uphold our high standards of food, service, and guest experience.

Position Overview
We are hiring Servers to join our team in Toronto. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding food and beverage service, creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience for every guest. You will collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure exceptional service, maintain a positive and energetic atmosphere, and uphold the high standards of quality and service that The Lunch Lady is known for.

Responsibilities

1. Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including the ability to explain the layout, contents, and theme of all menus to guests.
2. Operate Toast POS system accurately, process transactions, and handle payments efficiently.
3. Adhere to restaurant policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
4. Provide professional and attentive service with a focus on guest satisfaction and attention to detail.
5. Maintain a positive and collaborative approach with team members, working together to create a seamless dining experience.
6. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
7. Contribute to a positive and energetic atmosphere in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications - To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. Minimum 1-2 years of previous restaurant service experience is required.
2. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
3. Customer-first mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand standards of service.
5. Knowledge of allergies and dietary restrictions.
6. Basic knowledge of cocktails and wine.
7. Valid Smart Serve certification.
8. Bilingual language skills are an asset.
9. Flexible schedule, including the ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
