Janitor/Cleaner

Responsibilities

1. Perform cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness in various areas including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
2. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
3. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste following proper procedures.
4. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors on a regular basis.
5. Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to maintain a spotless appearance.
6. Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels in designated areas.
7. Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.

Experience

Required Skills:

1. Proven experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning roles.
2. Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in various settings.
3. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures.
4. Capacity to work independently and efficiently to complete tasks.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

1. Previous experience in maintaining cleanliness in diverse environments showcasing attention to detail.
2. Familiarity with different cleaning equipment and supplies.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $21.69-$23.19 per hour
