Senior Training Consultant

Work Location: Hybrid (Downtown Toronto- 3 Days Onsite/ 2 days Remote)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive training strategies and developing engaging training content for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and the ability to tailor training programs to meet the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement training strategies that align with client objectives and business goals.
2. Design and create high-quality training materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, workshops, and job aids.
3. Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements and gaps.
4. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
5. Deliver training sessions to clients, both in-person and virtually.
6. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
7. Continuously improve training programs based on client feedback and industry best practices.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in training and development.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Training Consultant or similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS).
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) is a plus.
