Production Supervisor

Join the Agropur Plessisville team as a production supervisor. A team of 100 employees dedicated to producing top-quality products for our national clients and proud to manufacture butter and powdered milk locally, contributing to the local economy.

Reporting to the plant manager, the production supervisor manages the plant's operations. The work schedule is on a rotating shift, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.

• Salary range 004: $71,200 to $89,000 (The base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)

What’s involved in this role:

• Being responsible for the plant's operational performance, including developing and deploying performance indicators and continuous improvement philosophy;
• Coordinating manufacturing processes, product packaging, and workforce assignment;
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards (ISO, HACCP, HALAL, GFSI), health and safety, and environmental standards;
• Mobilizing, developing, and training the team, and empowering employees;
• Leading performance meetings with work teams;
• Initiating problem-solving approaches with teams;
• Ensuring management based on business partnership with all on-site collaborators;
• Participating in plant committees and implementing operational excellence programs;
• Implementing continuous improvement approaches in relevant sectors;
• Ensuring the application of the collective agreement.

What you need to join our team:

• College or university degree in a related field or experience in personnel management;
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a supervisor in a unionized production environment;
• Availability to work on different shifts (day, evening, night, and weekend);
• Good computer skills (SAP, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
