We are Currently Hiring LPNs in Lacombe for:

• The following two dedicated lines:
• Line 1: 07:00-19:15 (will include some weekend shifts)
• Line 2: 15:00-23:15 (will include some weekend shifts)

*Temporary positions with possible opportunity to extend

• Casual shift pick-ups (12 hours)

The Role

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of care and requirements of the resident
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate that best practices are being used
• Lead and mentor HCAs by motivating and empowering them
• Provide support to residents, their family, and visitors during the resident's stay
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
• Previous experience in the area of Gerontology and Designated Assisted Living is an asset
• Current CPR / First Aid Certification / Equivalency required
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in delivering excellence in customer service/patient care, employee communication, and development
• Dementia education is an asset
• A current and clear Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Search (done within the last 6 months)
• A negative TB test (done within the last 6 months)

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

• Lacombe, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
