The shift pattern for this position is 11.55hr shifts days and nights. This is a rotational post which will involve working throughout all departments within the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital including community, day care, early pregnancy assessment, labour ward, gynaecology and the ante natal and postnatal wards. The postholder will support the senior charge midwife and nurses and midwives within the departments in the delivery of safe and effective standards of care. The postholder’s main duties will include maintaining HEI infection control standards in accordance with Policy through cleaning and maintaining a safe clinical environment.
