About the jobThis position is needed to ensure that complex financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported in compliance with the latest accounting standards and all applicable regulations; and to design, where applicable, and maintain an effective system of internal controls for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance purposes. As our business continues to grow and diversify, the need for specialized knowledge and increased compliance with new regulations becomes increasingly critical. This position will provide technical accounting guidance and lead various technical accounting projects. This role will work cross-functionally with broader Finance organization and other internal groups such as Legal, Social and Environmental Impact, Investor Relations, Business Development, Sales and Human Resources, as well as interface with outside technical advisors and auditors.
