Job Overview:
Provide solution and business process consulting assistance to sales team members to facilitate closing sales. Identify specific areas of prospect need and demonstrate how Client's services & solutions fill those needs. Reports to the Solutions Consulting Director.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver demonstrations for all client services & solutions.
- Prepare to deliver solution demonstrations: meet with prospects to identify their requirements, research their competitive strengths and weaknesses; reconfigure the solution and/or database as appropriate to best address prospect issues; ensure demonstrations are free of complications and maximize the usefulness of solutions.
- Strategize with sales team members to identify the most effective approach that will result in the prospect buying services & solutions.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of client's competitor's solutions, company direction, financial stability, etc.; keep current with industry events, solution offerings, etc.
- Provide advice and guidance to other Solution Consultants as requested.
- Regularly report on progress with each prospect via phone conferences, pipeline reports, etc.
- Build and maintain a thorough knowledge of all solutions, upgrades, upcoming revisions, functionality, etc.
- Provide input on prospect requirements/concerns to Solution Marketing teams as requested.
- Assist at trade shows, user conferences, etc. as requested.
- Interact with sales, marketing and external customers.
- Operate under moderate supervision with reviews of work.
- Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.
Education, Experience & Training required:
- Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years experience in a field relating to client's solutions and/or functional financial pre-sales functions (i.e. ERP financials).
- Broad business knowledge: ability to interpret and utilize industry information on competitors.
- Demonstrated experience in making formal presentations including ability to quickly redesign presentations and databases.
- Previous accounting experience preferred.
- Must be fluent in English and French.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check.
