Job description

Person who assumes responsibilities relating to file management, coding of file elements, quantitative and qualitative analysis of files, confidentiality, and application of the disclosure policy of information included in the file. She carries out research, collects, analyzes, and interprets statistical data. She collaborates with the professional team in teaching and evaluating files using objective criteria.

Requirements

  • Must hold a college diploma (DEC) in medical archives or a medical archivist diploma from a school recognized by the competent ministry or a diploma recognized by the Association of Health Information Managers of Quebec or by the College of Medical Archivists of Canada (Association of Medical Archivists of Canada).
  • A person who evaluates criminogenic factors and the criminal behavior of individuals, as well as the effects of a criminal act on the victim. They determine an intervention plan and ensure its implementation. They support and restore the social capacities of the offender and the victim in order to promote the integration of the individual into society while interacting with their environment. They design, evaluate, and implement research, intervention, or consultation activities of a criminological nature.
  • Must hold a bachelor's degree in criminology.
  • Must be a member of the Ordre professionnel des criminologues du Québec.
