Our total compensation package offers job security, health, dental, EFAP, vision and life insurance. Journeyman apprentice wage starts at $22.80 up to $38 (based on training, certificates, etc).

The Role

Body Repair – 80% of your time is spent here

• Hands-on work, get in there and fix it
• Surface preparations, priming, painting, polishing, buffing & detailing

Reports and Training – 10% and it's important!

• Keep close track of your time and document all repairs.
• Continuous upskilling and development through in-house training programs to advance employees in the latest technology in trucking as well as their career at New West.

Other Duties – 10% of your time is spent here

• General maintenance of painting and refinishing equipment and area.

Education/Certification

• Autobody refinisher Journeyman ticket.
• Class 5 licence required; Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s licence is an asset.

Experience

• 3+ years working as an Autobody Refinisher.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
