A great opportunity exists for an experienced VACUUM TRUCK OPERATOR (CLASS DZ) to support our team and ensure that service standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate the vacuum truck, including driving and maneuvering the vehicle to and from job sites
- Utilize the vacuum system to collect and transport materials according to safety regulations and best practices
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment
- Transport collected materials to designated disposal sites
- Properly document all waste disposal activities in accordance with environmental regulations
- Ensure compliance with all local, Provincial, and Federal environmental regulations
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks on the truck and equipment
- Identify and report any necessary repairs or maintenance issues
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers
- Provide excellent customer service

- Ability to lift 20 kg
- Environmental/industrial service experience (Marine, Manufacturing, Construction, or other heavy industrial setting) with proven leadership and administrative skills considered an asset
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental regulations and best practices
- Previous vacuum truck or bulk liquid transport experience considered an asset
- DZ or AZ class license required
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Clean criminal record
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting hourly rate of $30.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience
40 hrs/week and opportunity for overtime
- HSA (Health Spending Account after 90-day probationary period)
